Alex believes that balance in our lives, in the care of our bodies, and in nature is the way of health. She strives through acupuncture and massage to support her patients in connecting with the authentic self, to nurture the spark of inspiration that exists within us all, and to collaborate with her patients at every step of the way along their life’s process. She considers herself to be a partner in her patients’ health care and does her best to support their health and growth in collaboration with their doctors and chosen healthcare team. Alex seeks to provide gentle, powerful and effective treatments that incorporate small and simple additions or changes in lifestyle that will ultimately build a foundation of lasting healthful practices.
Alex Sollek is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Massage Practitioner and holds her Masters of Science in Acupuncture. She completed her three-year M.S.A. at Bastyr University in Kenmore, Washington and has completed internships at Harborview Medical Center (Seattle, WA) in both the Chronic Fatigue Clinic and the Madison Clinic for those living with HIV and AIDS as well as at the Rainier Park Medical Clinic (Seattle, WA) working with low-income populations.
She is currently completing a post-graduate study in Five Element Acupuncture with Lonny Jarrett and has continued her education through studying cranio-sacral therapy and Acutonics. Alex studied massage at Brian Utting School of Massage in Seattle, is a member of the AMTA (American Massage Therapy Association), and is certified by the NCCAOM (National Certification Commission For Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine).
